Our GM-specific kit for the Walbro 450LPH F90000274 pump fits all 2004+ GM returnless fuel systems and includes the correct strainer, E85/gasoline safe corrugated flex hose, clamps, and most importantly the plug n play electrical adapter. No modifications of the bucket are required, and the pump is properly secured within the assembly using the grommet included. The plug n play adapter ensures that unreliable splices inside the tank are eliminated making this is a true direct install. We have done extensive real-world testing of this pump in our daily driven 2005 Silverado 5.3L shop truck, which for several years was completely unmodified right down to the paper air filter, besides the Walbro F9000274 being installed. It will not overpower the factory fuel pressure regulator. Fuel mileage, driveability, and OE vehicle characteristics remain unchanged. The pump simply offers increased reliability with ethanol infused pump gasoline, and provides a foundation for any future modifications.

Horsepower capabilities of the Walbro F90000274? No other intank pump on the market can come close. This pump can support over 800hp on gasoline using larger than stock fuel lines. This pump can still support significantly more power than a Walbro 255LPH pump even when using stock fuel lines. All new for 2011, the Walbro F90000274 450LPH pump is the highest flowing intank fuel pump on the market, and is E85 safe to boot (completely compatible with both E85 or gasoline). Walbro designed the pump to meet the requirements of modern high horsepower naturally aspirated, supercharged, or turbocharged applications where a single 255LPH or 340LPH fuel pump is insufficient. The pump uses a turbine style design which incorporates two composite plastic blades, just like our HFP 255LPH pumps, as well as the Aeromotive 340LPH pump introduced last year, however producing a staggering 450LPH! The turbine design lends itself to extremely quiet operation, especially compared to Walbro's previous "gerator" GSS series 255LPH pump design that had metal gears which were notorious for a very loud whining noise which could sometimes be heard over even the loudest aftermarket exhaust setups. The Walbro F90000267 lends itself especially well to daily driven applications which see an increasing percentage of ethanol infusion.

The Walbro 450LPH F90000274 pump can flow anywhere from 15-120psi (the bypass valve is set higher than Walbro's previous fuel pumps, which were around 85psi). Final fuel pressure is determined by your fuel pressure regulator. Please note that this is an aftermarket fuel pump, and some modifications may be required to get it to fit. The overall size is very similar to Walbro's previous generation GSS340/GSS341/GSS342, however the base is slightly enlarged as shown in the pictures. Please email us with any installation questions.
